News Flash!

Swine Influenza (Flu)

Support Services Coordinator Lenora Hudson wants everyone to be aware of the current Swine Flu Epidemic by checking out the current information from the CDC, and reading information on preventing the spread of bacteria:

• Swine Flu Statistics
• Hand Washing

"As with any potential health scare, students are encouraged to be mindful of washing your hands often, covering your mouth when you cough or sneeze, and are reminded to stay home if you are sick."

"There are several unanswered questions about the potential progression of the swine flu. The situation is being monitored and will be evaluated in the event that swine flu impacts Oglala Lakota College or the Pine Ridge Reservation or the Cheyenne River Reservation. In the meantime, we proceed with business as usual."
